Christina Baker is an Associate Professor of American Multicultural Studies at Sonoma State University. She enjoys teaching courses that focus on film/media and education from an intersectional perspective that highlights the relationship between race and gender. She has published articles in several peer-reviewed journals, such as Sex Roles: A Journal of Research, Social Psychology of Education, Journal of College Student Development, The Urban Review: Issues and Ideas in Public Education, and Women, Gender, & Families of Color.
